Corporate Associate – Investment Funds (Sponsor-Side PE)

Location: Washington, D.C.
Class Year: 2018–2021
Compensation: $310,000–$420,000 + discretionary performance bonus

An excellent opportunity for a mid-to-senior associate to join a highly regarded sponsor-side private equity fund formation practice in Washington, D.C. This role offers direct exposure to leading practitioners, high levels of client contact, and work on sophisticated, market-shaping fund matters.

The Role

You will advise sponsors across the private funds lifecycle, with strong opportunities for hands-on responsibility, technical development, and meaningful client interaction on complex fund formation mandates.

Candidate Profile

• Top 14 Law Schools with Top Am Law Experience Only

• JD class years 2018–2021

• Strong experience in investment funds / sponsor-side PE fund formation

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client-management skills

• Commercially minded and team-oriented approach

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $310,000–$420,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

• Bonus: Discretionary, performance-based
