IP Litigation Associate (Patent/Trade Secrets)

Class Year: 2019–2022
Compensation: $260,000–$390,000 + discretionary performance bonus

A premier opportunity is available for a mid-level associate to join a high-performing IP Litigation team in San Francisco. The role is best suited to attorneys with strong technical fluency and experience in patent and/or technical trade secret disputes.

Candidate Profile

• JD class years 2019–2022

• Excellent academic credentials

• Meaningful experience in IP litigation, with a focus on:

  • Patent litigation, and/or

  • Technical trade secret litigation

• PTAB experience is advantageous

• Clerkship experience is a plus, especially CAFC clerkship background

Preferred Technical Background

Undergraduate degree in one of the following (or closely related disciplines):

• Electrical Engineering

• Computer Engineering

• Computer Science

• Mechanical Engineering

• Chemical Engineering

• Biomedical Engineering

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $260,000–$390,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

• Bonus: Discretionary, performance-based
