After 6 years working in law and then in legal recruitment, I started Brehon because I kept seeing the same problem: recruiters who didn't understand the work they were recruiting for, making matches based on job titles rather than genuine fit.

The US private practice market is where I focus - specifically, helping lawyers at all levels find firms where the work is better, the culture is right, and the trajectory actually makes sense for where they want to go.

I work with a small number of searches at any one time. That's deliberate. It means every candidate I work with gets proper attention, and every firm I work with gets candidates I've genuinely assessed - not a stack of CVs sent on spec.
