IP Litigation Associate

Class Year: 2019–2022
Compensation: $260,000–$420,000 + discretionary bonus

A premier opportunity is available for a litigation associate to join a high-performing IP litigation team in San Francisco. This role is ideal for a driven, trial-minded associate with experience in patent and/or trade secret disputes, and a strong interest in gaining meaningful stand-up and trial experience in high-stakes technology litigation.

Candidate Profile

• Top 14 Law Schools with Top Am Law Experience Only

• JD class years 2019–2022

• Strong academic credentials

• Excellent writing, drafting, and editing skills

• Meaningful experience in IP litigation, with a focus on:

  • Patent litigation

  • Trade secret litigation

• Demonstrated interest in developing experience in:

  • Depositions

  • Motion practice

  • Trial preparation and strategy

• Clerkship and prior trial experience are a plus

Preferred Technical Background

An undergraduate degree in one of the following areas is valued, but not required:

• Engineering

• Computer Science

• Chemistry

• Biology

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $260,000–$420,000
